Purpose of Assignment

The purpose of this project is to expand informatics skills by and comparing selected outcome measures from three hospitals and developing an evidence-based improvement plan for one of the areas where the state or national benchmark has not been met.

Student Approach to Assignment

I approached this assignment by using three local hospitals that I or family/friends have been a patient at. This assignment reflects my research skills and dedication to continued learning? I learned where my place of employment can improve. I approached the assignment as such to find evidence determining needs to improvement.

            This project is included in my paper because it reflects my research skills and ability to compare data. As a student and as a nurse, this paper reflects my ability to use research to problem solve.
